Sri Lanka is considered as a popular destination for adventure tours there are lot to enjoy in the nature & adventure in the Island compared to other countries, Adventurous Sri Lanka is an exciting journey through Sri Lanka’s wonderful landscapes and will satisfy those wanting something more than active than just a beach holiday we designed the tour including a beach stay together adventure includes rock climbing, Elephant riding, visit to a spice garden, cultural show, nature trekking, white water rafting, wild life jeep safaris, you will step into Sri Lanka’s ancient historical past, experience present day rural villages where life remains unhurried and people lead a balanced existence, and explore the jungles where herds of elephants roam free. Why not enjoy your adventure in Sri Lanka.
Day 01- Negombo
Arrival at the Colombo Airport, you will be met by our Chauffeur Guide and Airport staff and offer assistance. Thereafter transfer direct to Negombo, (15 minutes drive) the location is the closest place to airport after your air travel to take rest, this transit place being converted into a proper resort area including high quality resorts, restaurants, and the night life here is extremely enjoyable.
Day 02 – Sigiriya
Early morning depart to Sigiriya with a comfort stop en route. Climb 600 feet Sigiriya rock this is most attractive place among the tourists to Sri Lanka, Sigiriya is an awesome sight, with amazing views & impressive archeological discoveries. The fortress was a kingdom from 477 A.D to 495 A.D. UNESCO declared a World heritage sight in 1982.

Day 03 – Kandy via Matale
After breakfast leave to Kandy by en route visiting a spice garden at Matale, Sri Lanka has been famous for exporting spices even 1000 years before today also spices provide a substantial export income for the country, in the spice garden you will be able to explore wide range of spices & herbs. Evening you can witness a cultural show to get an idea about traditional dancing in Sri Lanka which includes a fire walk.
Day 04 – Kandy
Early morning 6.30 a.m. start a nature walk to Udawattekele, this forest offer totally unexpected patch of nature almost heart of the city. The forest is around 260 acres this place is very famous for endemic bird watching Sri Lanka Layard’s Parakeet, Sri Lanka Hill Mynah, Sri Lanka Yellow Fronted Barbet, Sri Lanka Hanging Parrot, Brown Capped Babbler, Sri Lanka Wood Pigeon, Sri Lanka Grey Hornbill could be seen. Other than birds there is Torque Monkeys, Porcupines, Mouse Deer’s & butterflies are common to see there
Evening visit to Peradeniya Botanical Gardens this 147 acres big garden is a well maintained garden there about 4000 different species you found in this garden there are few rare plants you could see in this garden such as double coconut trees, & extravagant java fig tree is the icon of the garden, the suspension bridge would offer extra value to the garden, the orchid house has lots of varieties & the noise of bats who is hanging & flying in the river bank area creates lots of character to the garden.
Day 05 Nuwara Eliya via Kitulgala
Depart to Kitulgala early in the morning Kitulgala is the film location of David Lean’s masterpiece “The Bridge on the River Kwai” Take a 01 – 02 hour white water rafting excursion. The short but exhilarating excursion is level 03 rafting and is suitable for most people between the ages of 08 – 65 years. Have your lunch after rafting session at the edge of the river bank restaurant at Plantation Hotel.
Then proceed to Nuwara Eliya via Hatton you will see two picturesque waterfalls Devon & St Clair’s. Nuwara Eliya is called little England, heart of Sri Lankan hill country nearly 2000 meters above the sea level it is the home for famous Ceylon Tea. The rolling mountains are a carpet of velvety green tea plantations. The salubrious climate, misty glens and the decidedly British character make Nuwara Eliya a must on any Sri Lankan travel itinerary.
Day 06 Horton Plains & Nuwara Eliya
Leave early morning for Horton Plains for a nature trek to Worlds End and the beautiful Bakers Falls Sri Lanka’s highest plateau 2200 meters above sea level in the central mountain country. This area is a very scenic region with an astounding variety of scenery from mountains to grasslands, from marshes to trout streams. Spectacular view from Worlds End, where the plateau suddenly fall away a thousand feet in a straight sheer drop cool and bracing climate, excellent for nature walk in the hill country. Distinctive flora many English field flowers grow on the plains colorful butterflies and many endemic rare highland birds could be possible to see here.
Evening you could enjoy an optional boat ride at Sir Gregory’s lake or walk around the lake another option is to walk around the Victoria’s Park to see some extraordinary English flowers and there is a bird trail existing to see some rare highland endemic birds.
Day 07 Yala via Ella
Leave afterwards for Yala via Ella Gap to you can stop at Ella Motel to have a cup of tea while enjoying the picturesque Ella gap then proceed to Yala, located at the southeastern tip of the island. Afternoon jeep safari of The Yala National Park for your wild life experience Yala – Sri Lanka’s best known national park is popular for Elephant, Leopard, Crocodile, Wild Boar, Spotted Deer’s, Bear & lots of migrant birds. Yala is 97,800ectares this is the second largest of Sri Lanka’s national parks. It was famous for elephants for many years, but recently the park has also received much fame through publicity by National Geographic and the Discovery TV channels, which focused on a leopard research/conservation and identification project. This park is primarily shrub jungle with several salt and fresh water lagoons. The areas popular with leopard are rock strewn hillocks with dense shrub in which the animals hide.

Day 08 Kalutara via Galle
After breakfast leave to Kalutara en route visiting the Old Dutch city of Galle. The drive to Galle would allow you to explore the southern coastal line, the 36-hectare (89 acre) Dutch Fort, built in 1663, which was originally built by Portuguese then modified by Dutch but now it is called a Dutch Fort. Its massive ramparts surround the promontory that forms the older part of Galle, and shelters within its walls sturdy Dutch houses, museums and churches. This area has a quiet, relaxed atmosphere that seems almost detached from the flow of history. The New Oriental Hotel, built for Dutch governors in 1684, is a colonial gem with a wonderfully atmospheric bar. Nearby is a tiny sliver of a beach suitable for a dip, though most travelers prefer to head along the coast to the fine beaches at Unuwatuna, Weligama and Tangalla.

Day 09 Kalutara – Colombo Airport Departure transfer via Colombo City
Sri Lanka’s largest city by population smallest by size, located in the west coast this coastal town is the commercial hub of Sri Lanka. Colombo is a fascinating city a blend of colonial buildings & modern sky scrapes it has a superb range of high quality restaurants & also very famous for its casino clubs this cosmopolitan city is mixture of everything shopping malls, cinemas, five star hotels & many international cricket grounds.
